AD Product Manager - Payments
Location: Charlotte, NC
We are looking for an Associate Director of Product to join our Servicing team, overseeing payments innovation across our omni-channel properties, including the BrightWay mobile app. This roll is pivotal in ensuring our payment offerings evolve to align with our mission to help to improve our customer’s financial lives, while supporting our business goals. You’ll be charged with setting strategy and guiding product direction across the payments area - deeply understanding both our customer’s payments needs as well as the rapidly changing payments landscape, redefining how, when, and where payments are made.
As an senior product team member you have a proven track record of delivering awesome customer experiences and results at scale. You have a strong bias for action, and you’ll do whatever it takes to get it done. You are a strategic thinker who can propose innovate ideas and execute on long term roadmaps. You mix strong data-driven focus with product intuition to challenge the boundaries of what a great product experience can do.
Responsibilities:
Manage your team’s roadmap to deliver on your Key Results and Outcomes.
Identify and drive strategic initiatives within the payments function, staying on top of the market and customer expectations. You should bring unique and ownable solutions to our business challenges.
Manage relationships with external vendors, fostering collaboration that leads to smooth integration and implementations.
Support resource allocation, budget management for your lane.
Gain a deep understanding for our customer’s needs and pain points through data analysis, and direct user interactions.
Communicate status updates, strategic risks and key dependencies, progress against objectives, and wins to your team leaders.
Partner closely with cross functional team members across product, design, engineering, operations, and analytics to ensure alignment, prioritization, and delivery across launches.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
8+ years experience working on successful digital consumer products.
At least 4 years in a face-paced environment such as a startup, fintech, etc.
Demonstrated experience with online payment systems, regulations, and industry innovations.
Demonstrated success in standing up or running new products or experiences, and the relentless pursuit of details needed for execution.
Experience creating a product vision and strategy and aligning it across cross-functional teams.
Experience with a Product Operating Model and the OKR framework.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Customer obsession and drive to deliver constant value.
Demonstrated ability to autonomously solve complex problems and carry the solution end to end.
Extensive hands-one experience leading scrum teams, and proficiency writing detailed user-stories and acceptance criteria.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for your domain.
Expertise with programs such as Confluence, Jira, Figma, and Miro.
