Work You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

1. Very strong knowledge of modern cloud deployment patterns and architecture.

2. Experience leading and working on large, transformational projects and a proven ability to bring disparate technical teams together around a shared architectural vision.

3. Leads the review of vendor proposals and making recommendations.

4. Lead development of initial SOA framework implementation.

5. Develop and document current and target state architecture diagrams and mappings.

6. Research and assess external and internal infrastructure capabilities required to achieve desired business goals.

7. Drive the design and develop enterprise-wide architecture, governance, and strategy for assigned architectural domain in alignment with the business strategy. Assist engineering and design functions for software applications and infrastructure in support of the corporate-wide strategic information technology

plan; oversee the introduction of new technology into the operations environment by utilizing OneMain’s standard governance process.

8. Provide technological expertise and advice to IT leadership in the development of strategic information technology plans to support business strategies.

9. Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with business and IT partners. Communicate status to key stakeholders on a regular basis.

10. Maintain awareness of trends and issues in area of technical expertise, evaluate new technologies or technology opportunities, and provide analysis of their potential impact to advantage the business.

11. Provide coaching /mentorship for IT personnel. Participate in career development and recognition activities. Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion and foster teamwork, collaboration, ad a learning organization.

12. Proven oral and written communication and presentation skills. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree(Computer Science or related filed) and 10-12 years’ experience in IT Architecture

2. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills

3. Experience with one or more architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, Filed Group, etc.)

4. Experience with all elements of change management

5. Proven capacity to work independently and manage multiple, completing demands.

6. Able to take high level requirements and develop software architecture

7. Ability to travel domestically

8. Excellent leadership skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of IT and business management and with vendors.
