TRIM Operations Manager
The Trim Operations Manager will support OneMain’s Financial Wellness vertical, serving as a designated process owner and subject matter expert of our Bill Negotiation operations.
This role will oversee our Bill Negotiation workforce and vendor relationship, responsible for ongoing performance driving to customer results and overall call center effectiveness outcomes. This role will also be responsible for working with operational leadership to evaluate business goals and obstacles, analyzing processes for improvement opportunities, and implementing effective solutions.
This is a full-time role reporting to the Director of Operations, based out of one of our corporate offices.
Responsibilities
Partner with vendor leadership to oversee the performance of our remote operational team
Maximize workforce productivity by continuously evaluating performance and processes, identifying and implementing improvements
Deliver a superior customer experience by ensuring speed and accuracy of QA processes and assisting in issue resolution on an ad-hoc basis
Minimize brand risk through quality assurance monitoring and continuous evaluation and improvement of operating procedures
Design and implement solutions for operational challenges, including overseeing feature improvement requests from start to finish.
Analyze distinct business cases using SQL queries to review data, comprehend the operational environment, and make recommendations.
Work closely with internal teams to achieve business improvements.
Act as the go-to contact for the status of crucial programs, projects, and initiatives.
Routinely assess and adjust performance metrics and KPIs to keep the team aligned with organizational objectives.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years’ experience in business operations or similar functions
Proficient in leading change and collaborating across functions, supporting initiatives from concept through execution.
Excellent communication skills—able to share difficult messages, handle disagreements, and address tough questions across various departments.
Curious, solution-oriented, and professionally competent.
Quick to address problems and independently resolve conflicting priorities.
Advanced analytical capability for reviewing data, quantifying opportunities, and designing long-term operational enhancements.
Experience with Power BI or SQL knowledge
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and deliver successful results.
Salary:
Target base salary range for Baltimore, MD and New York, NY is $80k-100k, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.
Location:
This role is Hybrid. You should be located within a commutable distance to one of our offices located in New York City, NY, Wilmington, DE, Baltimore, MD, Charlotte, NC, Fort Worth, TX or Irving, TX with expectations to be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
