Reporting directly to the VP/D Strategic Partnerships this role is critical in managing third-party partner relationships, ensuring accurate loan purchase processing, and maintaining data integrity across systems. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal development, treasury, and audit teams to support the full lifecycle of loan purchasing, sales, and reporting.  This individual must be detail oriented and possess strong business analytics skills.

In the Role:

  • Maintain strong relationships with third-party partners, acting as the primary liaison for data exchange, issue resolution, and loan sale coordination.
  • Produce and send daily loan purchase files, including Expected Purchase and Purchase Confirmations, to external partners.
  • Support the onboarding of new vendors, ensuring they have a smooth and efficient onboarding experience.
  • Generate and manage the monthly Master Purchasing File, providing comprehensive reporting on all loan purchases.
  • Review monthly loan purchase data using SQL to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with internal audit protocols.
  • Execute asset transfers in coordination with internal teams and third-party partners during loan sales or upon request.
  • Ensure timely creation of new divisions within the internal loan management system (Bedrock) to support operational needs.
  • Respond to partner inquiries regarding loan data and data tape specifications, ensuring clarity and timely resolution.
  • Analyze and complete audits of third-party loan balances to validate accuracy and support financial reconciliation.
  • Validate discrepancies in vendor-reported loan data by reviewing individual loan payment histories and underwriting records using internal systems (e.g., Bedrock)
  • Collaborate with internal development teams to enhance data tapes and implement additional data fields based on business requirements.
  • Explain complex financial variances clearly and effectively, translating technical findings into clear and concise communications for both internal teams and external partners.
  • Review and approve monthly CLIP invoices from third-party partners, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Calculate unwind loan balances and coordinate with the Treasury team to ensure accurate disbursement of unwind amounts.
  • Analyze individual loan payment histories and underwriting data using internal systems to support audits, reporting, and partner requests.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in loan operations or financial services
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and validation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or related field

Preferred:

  • Experience with internal loan systems (e.g., Bedrock)
  • Familiarity with financial reconciliation and audit processes
  • Proven ability to explain complex financial data clearly
