We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team and help drive operational excellence, improve system reliability, and accelerate our infrastructure growth across a hybrid environment.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work directly toward advancing the maturity a new SRE organization being created from the group up.This role is critical in designing, building, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and services that ensure high availability, performance, and security. You will collaborate closely across technology teams to automate processes, monitor system health, address observability gaps, troubleshoot issues, and proactively implement best practices for reliability and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
·Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems and services.
·Develop and maintain automation tools and frameworks for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
·Lead root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews to drive continuous improvement and prevent recurrence of incidents.
·Collaborate with software engineering teams to embed reliability best practices into the software development lifecycle.
·Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues.
·Align with partner teams on measured SLIs/SLOs and implement monitoring to track agreed upon SLOs.
·Manage and maintain DevSecOps CI/CD platforms and source code management (SCM) solutions.
·Evaluate and refine release management processes and artifacts across the software development and delivery lifecycle to ensure consistent repeatable processes.
·Mentor and guide junior SREs and engineers to promote a culture of reliability and operational excellence.
·Manage incident response, including on-call rotations, troubleshooting, and rapid resolution of outages.
·Drive capacity planning, performance tuning, system optimization, and disaster recovery planning to ensure SLOs are met and environment costs are effectively managed.
·Coordinate closely with security to support best practices and compliance across all infrastructure components, including security assessments, vulnerability scans and penetration tests.
Qualifications:
·BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
· 3-5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, systems engineering, or related roles.
·Strong expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker).
·AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification preferred
·Proficient in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
·Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, CloudWatch).
·Solid programming/scripting skills in languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or similar.
·Understanding of DevSecOps principals and practices
·Understanding of networking, security, databases, and distributed systems.
·Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
·Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred:
·Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
·Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
·Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, PCI, SOX, or SOC 2.

Target base salary range is xx-xx, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.
