Associate Director of Marketing and Sales Enablement
Location: Baltimore, MD
We’re seeking an Associate Director of Marketing and Sales Enablement to lead strategic programs that empower our sales teams—delivering lifecycle marketing plans, tools, branded materials, coaching content, and more to drive business growth and elevate the customer experience.
This hands-on, cross-functional role supports both our fast-growing auto dealer purchase program and our extensive personal loan branch network. The ideal candidate is a B2B marketing pro who thrives in sales and marketing partnerships and has a sharp eye for retail branding.
In the Role:
- Lead targeted marketing and lifecycle campaigns that attract, onboard, and retain dealer partners. Collaborate across teams -- working closely with marketing and communications channel owners—to deliver personalized, data-driven communications that deepen engagement and build long term value.
- Develop and continuously refine pitch decks, one-pagers, FAQs, and messaging frameworks that clearly articulate the value of our auto purchase program to dealer partners.
- Equip the sales team with targeted tools and resources for every stage—from initial outreach and re-engagement to closing, onboarding, and dealer activation.
- Oversee the selection and distribution of branded merchandise and relationship-building materials that keep OneMain top of mind with dealers.
- Manage end-to-end trade show strategy—from pre-event outreach to coordinating on-site engagement and post-event follow-up. Deliver compelling, on-brand assets and equip the sales team to build meaningful dealer relationships and convert interest into pipeline.
- Support onboarding and ongoing learning for sales reps through training content and enablement resources that accelerate ramp-up and performance.
- Gather feedback from the field to optimize messaging and tools, translating business needs into clear, actionable enablement strategies.
Branch Network Responsibilities:
- Optimize in-branch signage and collateral across 1,300 locations to highlight customer testimonials, product messaging, and review capture—enhancing visibility and trust.
- Collaborate with marketing and training to deliver tools, best practices, and activation campaigns that elevate sales conversations and create standout customer experiences.
- Develop engaging educational content that helps team members embody OneMain’s mission—featuring real customer stories, team insights, and values-driven messaging.
Requirements:
- Experience in auto financing or related, with a strong understanding of auto dealer and lender processes and relationships.
- 5–8 years in B2B marketing and sales enablement, ideally with an MBA or relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Ability to manage complex projects, distill information for sales teams, and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.
- Proven success leading marketing campaigns from brief through launch, collaborating with creative and cross-functional partners.
- Skilled in using digital, print, email, events, and other channels to drive engagement and results.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and partner effectively with sales, product, and customer support leaders.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple fast-paced projects with confidence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to craft compelling presentations that drive alignment and action.
